When the word mobile comes in your mind the image you would get in your brain would be something like a mobile phone that is shaped candy bar, flip, slide, large touchscreen mobile phone, or simply a slim but long mobile phone that would fit in your pocket but today that mobile device we are discussing is not just like that. Actually its a wrist watch that you could just imagine or you would have just seen in you r favorite Bond movies.
Today we are talking about LG’s GD910 a wrist mobile phone. This concept is not new but LG has put forward some extra ordinary things that we did n’t expected. So lets check out its cool features so that you can get a clear image of the device.
Key features:
- Wristwatch form factor with a leather strap
- Water splash resistant
- 1.43″ capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels
- Comes with a Bluetooth headset
- Excellent sunlight legibility
- Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support
- 3G with 7.2Mbps HSDPA and video-calling
- Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP
- 2GB onboard storage
- Video call camera capable of making photos in VGA (640 x 480 pixels) resolution
- Flash UI, optimized for finger usage
- Text-to-speech enabled (no Klingon support as of yet)
- Voice commands
- Flight mode

Wow it has got a leather strap that would be loved by fashion curious people out there. The screen is not large but thats ok cause no one would like to have a screen on his or her hand bigger than that. It has a blue tooth support and a blue tooth headset comes with it so you don’t have to stick your wrist to your ear while talking. As mentioned above it has an exellent sunlight legibility so you can see your screen in a sunny day too. It has a 3g network support and video calling capability too and thats great. It has voice command feature with bluetooth for connectivity and much more.
Now the time has come to check out the other side of the image yes the bad ones!
Main Bads:
- See water resistance above
- Bulkier than even a large watch
- No way to expand the built-in memory
- Display colors and contrast are pretty washed out even in the dark
- UI is somewhat slow at times
- No FM radio
- Trekkies would rather go for a lapel phone
I don’t think i need to explain these to you as you can simply understand what this mobile watch is lacking. The LG GD910 is too big for a watch but then, impressively small for a phone. The really troubleing bit is its thickness really. The mobile watch is very thick and many of us would hate that. Perhaps its just the beginning and future releases may shrink its size to to large extincts. The only other things to note at the front are the earpiece and the VGA camera, which is used for video-calling.
The general build quality of the LG GD910 is probably the best thing about the whole device. With nice looking and seemingly durable materials it looks set to last.
This product is available at the price of approximately 850 Euros
We hope you like this post on this cool watch and yes don’t forget to give us appreciating comment whether good or bad we take them seriously. Thanks
