Amazon has predicted that E-book will overtake paperback by the end of 2011. Amazon has recently said that they are selling 180 E-books for every 100 hardcovers and this ratio is constantly increasing with E-books. Talking to  USA Today Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos said that “I predict we will surpass paperback sales sometime in the next nine to 12 months. Sometime after that, we’ll surpass the combination of paperback and hardcover.”

Most of our readers will though like to have printed book but still we can see that the number of E-book lovers is increasing as the use of tablets is increasing day by day. Blackberry maker RIM (Research in Motion) has  registered a domain named blackpad.com. As it was announced earlier that they are going to introduced a rival product to Apple’s iPad. So is really the blackpad one step more closer? We all know that RIM has given a deadline date of introducing their new product as December 2010 but it is quite possible that we see the launch of their tablet quite earlier than that. In a report Guardian states that the sale of the android running phones have been tripped since the start of the year now 1 out of 10 handsets which are being sold in UK is an android running phone. Android phones like HTC desire and HTC legend are the phones which are among the most popular handsets in UK and now Samsung has released phone named galaxy5 which is another good and attractive option for the Android lovers. It looks like Apple is having bad luck these days. Antenna issue has affected Apple badly and now a report from Library of Congress shakes out for Apple. The main point of the report is that users can jailbreak and unlock there electronic devices. Its totally opposite to what Apple said previously that that Jailbreaking is illegal under the DMCA.

According to new government rules announced Monday:

Owners of the iPhone will be able to break electronic locks on their devices in order to download applications that have not been approved by Apple. The government is making that legal under new rules announced Monday….Another exemption will allow owners of used cell phones to break access controls on their phones in order to switch wireless carriers.

Beginning this Friday, customers can purchase iPhone 4 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. iPhone 4 will be available for purchase through Apple’s retail and online stores and Apple® Authorized Resellers.
