The new Samsung Q1EX-71G is an Ultra Portable PC with a full touch screen usage system and does not have a keyboard like its predecessor. It weighs less than 1.5 lbs that makes it easy to carry and you can take it with you anywhere you want by just putting it in your hand bag. It is slim as well with less than 9 inches width x 5 inches Height x 1″ Dimension it has the perfect size as you would want. it has a 2GB memory that i think is sufficient for the work that people usually do on the ultra portable devices for example you don’t play games on it.
The battery life not so good not so bad as it provides up to 3.5 hours on the standard Li-Ion battery and up to 6 hours on the extended-life battery.
The Q1EX offers 802.11 b/g wireless Wi-Fi connectivity as standard, as well as Bluetooth 2.0, enabling you to connect to you favorite Bluetooth device. The Q1EX provides secure, fast connectivity no matter where you are. And with the dual array microphone, you can make phone calls over the Web using your favorite VoIP account.
The best thing it has to offer is its screen because it has its 7″ wide LCD touch screen Its 1024 x 600 resolution and 300 nits of brightness add up to an incredible viewing experience whether inside or out and its exellent even in the sunlight.
It also has a memory card slot and a headphone slot at the top. On left it has a menu toggle that give on screen menu and shortcuts to utilities etc and on and off button is present adjacent to it. On the back it also has a 1.3 Mega Pixel camera that is good at taking still shots but does not act as a webcam.
It does not have a built in keyboard but that can be connected to it with a docking station that when connected to it will make it just like a laptop device.
Samsung Q1EX-71G comes with a genuine Windows XP Tablet Edition but Samsung recommends Windows Vista® Business for Business Computing and Windows Vista® Home Premium for Personal Computing.
